You should not wait until your baby is born to start taking better care of yourself, you can start from pregnancy. Always try to be calm and relaxed, eat well and get enough rest every day. If as a mother you notice that you need some physical activity, sleep a little more or go out with your friends or your partner alone, but you also feel that you do not have time, you should find a way to try to reconcile your obligations with your needs.

Exercising helps you be a better mother

Generally many mothers think that they do not have enough time to exercise and be a good mother at the same time. This thought is very frequent, and unfortunately many women who cling to it fall into the error of leaving their physical health in the background.

However, you must learn that when you set aside some time to go to a gym, dance therapy or go for a run, you are doing it in order to gain the strength necessary to take care of the whole family.

Children observe everything and learn from your example

Do not forget that your children are watching you and that they forget few things easily. Also, keep  in mind that they are growing and learning through imitation.

Thus, you will see that it is much more difficult for you to explain to your children how important it is to exercise or have a healthy diet if you as a mother do not comply with it. Remember that teaching one thing and doing another can end up confusing your children. 

Try to include a few minutes in your routine for your beauty and hygiene rituals. You will see that without realizing it  you will teach your children the virtues of an organized life and the importance of dedicating time to yourself.

To be a better mother, you should try, first of all, to avoid isolating yourself when you have your first baby; on the contrary, this is the ideal time to surround yourself with your true friends so that they will reach out to you every time you need a little help and why not? some extra time for you.
